Arrive in Nepal: Our

to the Nepal airport and
transfer to Hotel. Evening free

Days 03:
Ktm-Paro. Fly to Paro onboard
Druk Air. On arrival transfer to
Thimphu (BLD) |

Thimphu sightseeing
Full day sightseeing; visits to
King's memorial Chorten,
national library, folk heritage
museum, textile museum,
traditional medicine institute,
Drubthob nunnery, school of fine
arts, hand-made paper factory.
Overnight at Hotel Wangchuk or

Days 05:
Drive to Punakha, sightseeing
Drive fir 3 hours to punakha via
dochu la pass (3150m). Afternoon
explore punakha valley visiting
the dzong, and hike t oChimi
Lhakhang. Overnight at Meri
Puensum Resort or similar

Drive to Bumthang
Full day drive to Bumthang (6-7
hrs) via Pela La and Yotong La
Passes. En route in Trongsa
visit Trongsa Dzong.
Overnight at Mipham Guest House

Days 07:
Bumthang sightseeing, drive to
Trongsa
Full day sightseeing including
visit to Jambay and Kurjey
Lhakhang, Jakar dzong-Castle of
White Bird, and walk around
Jakar township. Afternoon return
to Trongsa for overnight.

Days 08:
Drive to Thimphu
Full day drive to Thimphu (6-7
hrs). After lunch tin Wangdue,
continue to Thimphu via the
Dochu La Pass.

Days 09:
Drive to Paro, sightseeing
Morning drive for 2 hours to
Paro. Afternoon explore Paro
valley and visit; national
museum at Ta Dzong, Rinpung
dzong, Drugyal dzong ruins, and
a traditional Bhutanese farm
house.
Or Hike to Taktsang Monastery.
Full day excursion hike to
Taktsang Monastery. It is
perched on the side of a cliff
900 m above the floor of the
Paro valley, where the only
sounds are the murmurs of the
wind, and water and the chanting
of the monks. The name Taktsang
means 'Tigers Nest'; the Guru is
said to have flown on the monks.

flown on the back of a tigress
to the site of the monastery
where he meditated in a cave for
three months.
The walk is long, and can be
steep in places, but the views
are stunning. After lunch at the
cafeteria, return to Paro and
stroll around the small town.

Transfer to Paro airport for
return flight to Kathmandu.
