Chulu East Peak Climbing

Chulu East Peak is situated high above the Manang valley where you could see the breathtaking views of Annapurna II, III and IV, Gangapurna, glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho peak and Manaslu. Chulu East Peak climbing is technically straightforward and you should be familiar with the use of your climbing equipment. Most of the climbing will be involved walking roped together, including the glacial crossings. You should be very fit and have good experience of climbing. The North-East Ridge is considered the normal route to climb this peak from a Base Camp on the moraine at 5334m (17500ft).

Itinerary - Chulu East Peak Climbing
Day 1. Arrive in Kathmandu :
Our representative will be waiting in Nepal airport and transfer to hotel. Free in the evening. Rest in the hotel.
Day 2. Kathmandu sightseeing :
You will have a meeting with your guide about your climb and drive to sight seeing tour. We will make a necessary document to your climbing. Evening will be a meeting for briefing and introducing to your supporting team. BB
Day 3. Kathmandu to Besishar :
Drive to Besishar by regular local bus. Lunch will be on the way to Besishar. Over nigh tin the lodge. BLD
Day 4. Trek to Bahundada :
Over night in the camp. BLD
Day 5. Trek to Jagat :
Over night in the camp. BLD
Day 6. Trek to Tal :
Over night in the camp. BLD
Day 7. Trek to Dharapani :
Over night in the camp. BLD
Day 8. Trek to Chame :
Over night in the camp. BLD
Day 9. Trek to Pisang :
Over night in the camp. BLD
Day 10. Trek to Ngawal :
Over night in the camp. BLD
Day 11. Rest day in Ngawal :
Over night in the camp. BLD
Day 12. Trek to Base camp :
Over night in the camp. BLD
Day 13. Base cap to High camp :

Day 14. Camp I :
Over night in the camp. BLD
Day 15. Rest and explore day :

Day 17. Summit and back to Base camp :

Day 18. Base camp to Manang :
Our supporting staff will back down to Besishar and you will continue to Thronag La pass with a guide and a porter. Over night in the lodge. BLD
Day 19. Manang to Yak Kharka :
over night in the lodge. BLD
Day 20. Trek to Throng Phedi :
over night in the lodge. BLD
Day 21. Trek to Muktinath :
over night in the lodge. BLD
Day 22. Trek to Jomsom :
over night in the lodge. BLD
Day 23. Fly to Pokhara :
Over night in the Hotel/ guest house BB
Day 24. Drive back to Kathmandu :
Over night in the Hotel/ guest house BB
Day 25. Final departure to Home :
We will transfer to airport for the final departure. BB
Note : The itinerary reflects recommended durations for distance and elevation covered per day and times for altitude acclimation based on latest AATE experience.
If you are with less than the minimum number of participants please contact us. We can bring you into contact with other people who would be interested to do the same type of peak climbing.
Package Cost Includes - Chulu East Peak Climbing
• Arrival and departure transfer from international airport
• Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu for three night on BB twin sharing
• All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) whilst on the trek.
• Lodge/ camp accommodations in trekking on twin sharing (bathroom outside)
• Trekking permit (Annapurna Conservation Area Permit and TIMS)
• Peak climbing permit and garbage deposit
• Climbing support (fix rope, snow bar, ice screw, rock piton, ice hammer)
• Experienced climbing guide
• Logistic support (sleeping tent, dining tent, toilet tent, kitchen tent, mattress)
• Kitchen and utensils
• Small medical kit
• Necessary staff guide, cook, porter, sherpa (one porter per two persons is provided to carry the clients personal effects)
• One night hotel in Pokhara on BB plan twin sharing.
• Transfer to and from trekking as per itinerary.

• All the government tax and our (AATE) service charges.

• Personal trekking and climbing equipment (including sleeping bag)
• Extra accommodation, meal, entrance, and tour or etc while in the city
• Your travel insurance (for travel, cancellation, accident, health, emergency evacuation and loss of life, theft of or damage to personal effects).
• Tips and gratuities (crew frequently receives some recognition for good service)
• Costs arising from unforeseen events outside the control of AATE.
• Personal expenses such as alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, mineral water, monuments entrance fees, postage, laundry, video, camera, phone, etc.
• All other services not included in the "cost includes" section above.
