Trekking Region : Everest

Everest Base Camp Trek is a famous challenging trek in Khumbu, Nepal.

Everest Base Camp trek passes through the picturesque Sherpa villages like Namche, Khumjung, Thame or etc. Everest Base Camp trek offers the best view of the Mt. Everest (8848m.) from the closer point called Kalapattar (5550m.).

In order to reach Kalapattar, trekkers have to hike from Gorekshep where EBC trekkers stop for the last night. From Kalapatter, the view of the Mount Everest can be observed clearly, in between Mt. Lhotse (8516m.) and Mt. Nuptse (7864m.), the Himalayan scenery of these gaint Himalayas is the most popular picture of the world.

During Everest Base Camp trek, the temperature in is expected below zero, almost all season. While passing the trail to the Everest Base Camp trek, there are many monasteries including Tengboche monastery that trekkers can view. The trail passes with the carved Mani stone, prayer flags, prayer wheels and singing prayers for everyone's well-being. Our experience guide would be very much worthy in this trek to Everest Base Camp.

We had a Everest Base Camp Trek. We would like to give our recommendations to the company and our guide
• The trip was well managed and organized from start to finish.
• Very professional and friendly staff specially our Guide Sun Bahadur
• IT was nice to have a flexible approach to the itinerary. We were able to add an extra day to the trip due to illness, without needing to worry.
• If we were going back to another trek in Nepal, we would happily book through Alpine Asian Trek and request Sun Bahadur

This is one of the best times in my life. The guide Ang was excellent, was a top graded guy. He had a long standing experience in the mountain. He keeps a vast knowledge about the Himalayan peaks of Nepal as he is also an expedition leader. I will strongly recommend Mr Ang as a guide and Alpine Asian Treks as a trekking operator to any body. I will return to Nepal again next year, to trek with Ang. Thank you.

We had a fantastic time in the Everest Region! We walked from Jiri to Namche Bazar and continue to Gokyo. We cross the Cho-La and done the Kalapatter Everest Base Camp trek. We had trekked back the all the way to Jiri. All that time Padam was our hero through all the long days of walking. With his incredible strength and his everlasting smile he made our day. We would like to recommend to our guide Mr. Padam and Alpine Asian Treks to the other trekkers. Thanks for this wonderful trip.
