Jiri to Everest Base camp trek is a traditional trekking route to Everest Base Camp. Sir Edmond Hillary and Tengin Sherpa trekked through this route to their expedition. Before building the mountain airstrip in Lukla, it was very popular to the trekkers who would like to enjoy with Everest area. Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek route passes through the picturesque Sherpa village lush green mountains at the first part. The second part of the trekking will be enjoyed with the young Himalayan peaks. Varieties of seasonal flora and fauna and some Himalayan animals can be a life time experience including snow leopard, Rhododendron, Pheasant etc. Jiri to Everest Base Camp trek will have many ups and downs and after which we will hike gradually.

Itinerary - Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek

Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu :

Our representative will be waiting in the Nepal airport and transfer to Hotel. We will welcome to our city office and finalize the formalities. Brief the program and introduce the guide and other operator. Take an easy evening to stroll around. Over night in the Hotel.

Day 2 Kathmandu Sight seeing :

After the breakfast drive to sight seeing by car with guide to the world heritage sites (Pashupatinath- Hindu temple, Boudhanath - Buddhist stupa, Swyambhunath - Buddhist Stupa and Patan Durbar Square). Back to Hotel and free in the evening. We will prepare the documents and other paper work to your trek. Over night in the Hotel. BB

Day 3 Drive to to Bhandar :

Take a bus to Jiri and after find some local available transport to Bhandar and Over night in the lodge

Day 4 Trek to Sete :

Over night in the lodge

Day 5 Trek to Junbesi

Over night in the lodge

Day 6 Trek to Taksindu

Over night in the lodge

Day 7 Trek to Khari Khola

along the gorge of the Dudh Kosi to the small mountain airstrip at Lukla to catch your return flight to Kathmandu.

Day 21 Flight back to Kathmandu at the airport transfer to the Hotel :

A free afternoon in Kathmandu

Day 22 These are "cushion" day :

in case bad weather or other circumstances delay your return to Kathmandu. Otherwise, they can be used for sightseeing around Kathmandu valley or free for shopping day. O/N Hotel

Day 23: Depart Kathmandu.

• Three night accommodation in Hotel/ Guest house in Kathmandu on BB.

• One day sight seeing in Kathmandu by car

• All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) whilst on the trek.

• Lodge accommodations in trekking on twin sharing (bathroom outside)

• Applicable trekking fees (Sagarmatha National Park fee and TIMS).
