Everest Base Camp Trek

Trek to Everest base camp passes through the picturesque village like Namche, Khumjung, Thame or etc. This trek offers special view of the Mt. Everest from the closer point called Kalapatter 5550m. Kalapatter is a hiking from Gorekshep where EBC trekkers stop for the last night. From kalapatter the view of the Everest is seems in between Lhotse and Nuptse which is the most popular picture of Everest. Temperature in Everest Base Camp trek is expected bellow than zero almost all season. While passing the trail to the EBC there are many monasteries including Tengboache monastery. The trail passes with the carved Mani stone, Prayer flags, Prayer wheels and singing prayers for everyone's well-being. Lodges are available while on trekking. Experience Sherpa guide would be much worthy in trek.

Itinerary of Everest Base Camp in Detail

Days 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu a representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your Hotel.

Days 02 : Kathmandu valley sight seeing with guide and prepare for the trek.

Days 03 : Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding

Days 04-05 : Trek to Namche Bazar / acclimatization day or spare day.

Days 06 : Trek to Tengboche

Days 07 : Trek to Dingboche

Days 08 : Lobuche

Days 09 : Trek to Gorekshep

Days 10 : Hiking to Kala Pattar 5550m. - Lobuche

Days 11 : Trek to Dingboache

Days 12 : Trek to Tengboache

Days 13 : Trek to Khumjung

Days 14 : Trek to Monjo

Days 15 : Trek to Lukla along the gorge of the Dudh Kosi to the small mountain airstrip at Lukla to catch your return flight to Kathmandu.

Day 16: Flight back to Kathmandu at the airport transfer to the Hotel. A free afternoon in Kathmandu

Days 17 : These are "cushion" days in case bad weather or other circumstances delay your return to Kathmandu. Otherwise, they can be used for sightseeing around Kathmandu valley or free for shopping days. O/N Hotel

Days 18 : Depart Kathmandu.

Our full board package cost includes the following:

Airport transfers (by private car, van or bus as per group size)
All land transfers as per itinerary to trek. (by private car, van or bus as per group size)
Domestic flights and departure taxes as per itinerary.
All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) whilst on the trek. Meals on camping treks will prepared by AATE and served from our dinning room tent. In lodge based treks all meals will be provided from the lodges along the way.
All lodge accommodations, tenting fees.
Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park entrance fees.
Applicable trekking fees.
Porters and/or pack animal (one porter per two persons is provided to carry the clients personal effects)
Trekking equipment (For a lodge based trek a duffle Bag for your non-personnel gear. For camping based treks a tent (shared between two persons), mattress, sleeping bag, kitchen and dinning room tents and all kitchen utensils, toilet tent)
Trekking staff (guide with government license holder and other assistant guides where applicable, cook, Sherpa and porter as per requirements).
Insurance for the trekking staff. (insurance as per state law)

All the government tax and our (AATE) service charges.
Upon final payment AATE will provide pre-departure file including the detailed agreed itinerary, hotels and transport booked and introduce you to your trekking guide.

Costs arising from unforeseen events outside the control of AATE.
