Ghorepani Poonhill trek is considered as One of the
easy trek in Nepal with a
beautiful view of Annapurna and mt.
Dhaulagiri and Manaslu.
It also known as
Poon Hill trek,
starts from Pokhara. It is one of the best view
point to sunrise from the Himalayas. This trek can
combine to Annapurna base camp, Jomsom Muktinath and
Annapurna circuit. This trek is most enjoyable while
there is freshly snows in winter and rhododendron in
Spring.

It offers view of Mt. Annapurna I, Mt.
Machhepuchare (fishtail), Mt. Annapurna South, Mt.
Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu, Hiunchuli, Lamjung Himal,
Anapurna II, annapurn IV and many other peaks.
Difficulties:
It is considered as a easy and a short trek
Flora and fauna:
Annapurna Conservation Area is rich in natural resources
and bio diversity. It has many different types of
plants, flowers including orchids, rhododendron, vegetation and
animal including Beer, Himalayan Tsar, Assam Monkey
and many more. Many spices of butterfly are found
in steamy low valleys at the beginning
part of trek.
People and culture:
Gurung and Magar
people are inhebitated in this region. They are very
rich in culture with worm hospitality.
Food Accommodation:
There are good local lodges to sleep and for food.

Best time to Travel:
September - mid December/ February - May . (March and April
is the best to observe the Rhododendron). It is open round the year.

Itinerary of Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek |
|
Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu, transfer
to hotel. Hotel in Kathmandu can be as per
your choice in town. |

Day 02: Fly to Pokhara and O/N in
the Hotel. we will supply the hotel in Pokhara
as per the clients requirements in town. |
|
Day 03: Take a drive to Nayapul approximately
1:30m. and trek to Hile 1475m. approximately
4 hr. O/N in the lodge. Lunch will be on the
way and dinner in the lodge. |

Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani (2823m).
O/N in the lodge (approx 7 hr) lunch break
in the Ulleri village. Take a early sleep
to wake up for tomorrow. |
Day 05: Wake up at around 5:00AM and
hike to Poon Hill 3210m. Hill to see the view
of massif Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan
range and sunrise from the Himalayas. After
the breakfast trek to Tadapani O/N in the lodge
(approx 6 hr) |

Day 06: Trek to Ghandruk O/N in the
lodge (approx 5 hr) Take a little rest and
walk around th village to observe the culture
and life style of Gurung people. Gurung (Gurkhas)
are one of the ethnic group who were fought
in the second great world war as well as. |

Day 07: Trek back to Pokhara O/N in
the hotel. (approx 6 hr) and drive. Hotel
will be as per the clients choice in the town. |

Day 08: Fly to Kathmandu and transfer
to Hotel or can join with another program. |

Day 09: Final departure to airport.

Our full board package cost includes the
