Base Camp Trek |

Makalu Base Camp (5250m) trek starts form
Tumlingtar. The trek has some option which
is (I)makalu base camp trek (ii) Sherpani
col pass trek (iii) Tumlingtar to Lukla.
This trek is specially to see the Mt. Makalu
(8463m.), remote area of Nepal including the
Rai and limbu (ethnic group) culture. It is
not a touristy route as other trekking route
in Nepal. Makalu base camp starts from the
low land to the high mountain passing the
forest, along the river, the traditional
villages and finally to the Himalaya. The
trek further led to the east col, west col
to Chukung passing 6200m. The trails are
very rough and confusing while in the
forest. Well experienced guide is compulsory
to do this trek. There are no tea house
(lodge) to stay and sleep. It is a demanding
trekking. If you want to do the Sherpani col
pass you should be prepare with good
climbing equipment. Alpine Asian Treks can

Our full board package cost includes the
following:

Airport transfers (by private car, van
or bus as per group size)

All land transfers as per itinerary to
trek. (by private car, van or bus as per
group size)

All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
whilst on the trek. Meals on camping
treks will prepared by AATE and served
from our dinning room tent. In lodge
based treks all meals will be provided
from the lodges along the way.

All lodge accommodations, tenting fees .

Applicable trekking fees.

Porters and/or pack animal (one porter
per two persons is provided to carry the
clients personal effects)

Trekking equipment (For a lodge based
trek a duffle Bag for your non-personnel
gear. For camping based treks a tent
(shared between two persons), mattress,
sleeping bag, kitchen and dinning room
tents and all kitchen utensils, toilet
tent)

Trekking staff (guide with government
license holder and other assistant
guides where applicable, cook, Sherpa
and porter as per requirements).

Insurance for the trekking staff.
