Jiri To Everest Base Camp Trek

This is a traditional trekking route to the Mt. Everest Sir Edmond Hillary and Tengin Sherpa were trekked through this route to their expedition. and whole Khumvu region. Before building the mountain airstrip in Lukla it was very popular to the trekkers who would like to enjoy with Everest area trekking. The route passes through the pictursque Sherpa village lush green
mountains at the first part. The second part of the trekking will be enjoyed with the young Himalayan peaks. This trek is starts from low land to the Everest Base Camp (Kalapatter 5550m) Varities of seasonal flora and faona and some himalayan animals can be a life time experience including snow leopard, Nepals national flower rhododendren, Pheasantor etc. Before getting the Takshindu (Famush climber sherpa village) the trek will have many ups and downs and after will be hike gradually. It has few medical facilities including in Pheriche 4200m. It requires to be feet phisically to do a trekking with out problem. while it is consedered as a hard trek our experienced guide and porter will make a pleasant and memorable to your lifetime.

Itinerary of Jiri To Everest Base Camp in Detail

Days 01:  Upon arrival in Kathmandu a representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your Hotel.

Days 02 : Early morning drive to Jiri. Overnight Camp

Days 03 : Trek to Shivayala.

Days 04 : Trek to Bhandar (2040m).

Days 05 : Trek to Sate (2575m).

Days 06 : Trek to Junbesi (2675m)

Days 07 : Trek to Thaksindo Monastery (2934m).

Days 08 : Trek to Khari Khola (2070m).

Days 09 : Trek to Pinyan (2830m).

Days 10 : Trek to Phakding (2830m).

Days 11 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3444m).

Days 12 : Namche Bazaar Rest and Acclimatization.

Days 13 : Trek to Thyangboche Monastery (3875m).

Days 14 : Trek to Dingboche (4360m).

Days 15 : Trek to Lobuje (4930m).

Days 16 : Trek to Gorekshep 5140m.

Days 17 : Trek Kalapatter 5550m. and back to Lobuje.

Days 18 : Trek to Pangbuche.

Days 19 : Trek to Khumjung (3779m).

Days 20 : Trek to Jorsalle (2800m).

Days 21 : Trek to Lukla along the gorge of the Dudh Kosi to the small mountain airstrip at Lukla to catch your return flight to Kathmandu.

Days 22 : Flight back to Kathmandu at the airport transfer to the Hotel. A free afternoon in Kathmandu

Days 23 : These are "cushion" days in case bad weather or other circumstances delay your return to Kathmandu. Otherwise, they can be used for sightseeing around Kathmandu valley or free for shopping days. O/N Hotel

Our full board package cost includes the following:

  • Airport transfers (by private car, van or bus as per group size)

  • All land transfers as per itinerary to trek. (by private car, van or bus as per group size)

  • Domestic flights and departure taxes as per itinerary.

  • All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) whilst on the trek. Meals on camping treks will prepared by AATE  and served from our dinning room tent. In lodge based treks all meals will be provided from the lodges along the way.

  • All lodge accommodations, tenting fees.

  • Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park entrance fees.

  • Applicable trekking fees.

  • Porters and/or pack animal (one porter per two persons is provided to carry the clients personal effects)

  • Trekking equipment (For a lodge based trek a duffle Bag for your non-personnel gear. For camping based treks a tent (shared between two persons), mattress, sleeping bag, kitchen and dinning room tents and all kitchen utensils, toilet tent)

  • Trekking staff  (guide with government license holder and other assistant guides where applicable, cook, Sherpa and porter as per requirements).

  • Insurance for the trekking staff. (insurance as per state law)

  • First aid medical kit. Check Here

  • All the government tax and our (AATE) service charges.

  • Upon final payment AATE will provide pre-departure file including the detailed agreed itinerary, hotels and transport booked and introduce you to your trekking guide.

Our full board package does not include the following:

  • Personal trekking equipment  Equipment Check

  • All meals while in Kathmandu or in Pokhara.

  • Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu, (they can be included upon request).

  • Sightseeing tours in Kathmandu, (they can be included upon request).

  • International flights and departure taxes.

  • Visa and passport fees (to entry and re entry). Nepal entry visa is US$30 for 60 days.

  • Your travel insurance (for travel, cancellation, accident, health, emergency evacuation and loss of life, theft of or damage to personal effects).

  • Tips and gratuities (crew frequently receives some recognition for good service)

  • Costs arising from unforeseen events outside the control of AATE.

  • Personal expenses such as alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, mineral water, monuments entrance fees, postage, laundry, video, camera, phone, etc.

  • The single supplements payable on all bookings where only one person is travelling.

  • Gratuities for services provided on a personal basis.

  • All other services not included in the  "cost includes" section above.
