Jomsom Muktinath Trek (Easy trek) |
Jomsom Muktinath trek is known as the
easiest trek in Annapurna trail. The
trek follows the worlds deepest gorge
kaligandaki valley. The local people
called Thakali are famush for
hospitality and friendly. The trek leads
to Muktinath (3800 m) a major pilgrimage
site for both Buddhists and Hindus as
well as an opportunity to relish the
great mountain views including Nilgiri,
Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and many more.
Some trekkers also do the Annapurna
circuit (Throng la pass) trek from this
side though it is harder than the other
side. you will share the trail with
burros and pony caravans on their way to
and from the Mustang region carrying
food or other stuff. This trek passes
through the most popular Ghorepani Poon
Hill on the way and further ahead
natural hot spring (Tatopani). You will
have option to shorten the trek either
fly to Jomsom or fly back. The trails
are open round the year. This trek offer
nice lodge (tea house trek) for food and
accommodation. It can be more relaxing
trek compare to other trek. You can
enjoy with the local whisky called 'Marpha'
while on trek which is made from apple.
You can observe some Gumpa and chorten (buddhist
site) on the way. If you are in
September or October you can encounter
with the caravan of sheep from Tibet or
upper Mustang to sale to Pokhra or in
the village to the festival. Local guide
porter from Muktinath region can be
arrange if you book in advance. |

Days 01:
Upon arrival in Kathmandu our
preventative will meet you at
the airport and transfer you to

Our
full board package cost includes the following:
