Jomsom Muktinath Trek (Easy Trek)

As a easy trek it can be reachable by all the means of transport (by jeep or air) reachable trek is a Jomsom Muktinath trek. It is one of the beautiful part of the Annapurna lies in the lap of Mt. Nilgiri. The trek trail follow the Kali Gandaki river valley which is the worlds deepest gorge. The trek has some options to starts like fly to Jomsom and trek down or drive to Nayapul and trek via Poon Hill or straight drive to Beni continue to trek. This trek is considered one of the easy trek because of the highest elevation is 3800 only and raise gradually.

It lies in the lap of Nilgiri and other view are Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and other many peaks. The trek pass through the hot spring called Tatopani which is one of the relaxing in this trip and even in Annapurna circuit trek. The trail through kali Gandaki valley is consider as the deepest gorge in the world .

It is considered as a easy trekking.
Flora and fauna:
Annapurna Conservation Area is rich in natural resources and bio diversity. It has many different types of plants, flower including orchirds, vegetation and animal including Beer, Himalayan Tsar, Assam Monkey and many more. Many spices of butterfly are found in steamy low valleys at the begaining and ending part of trek.
People and culture:
This area is the settlement of Thakali tribes. They are rich in making delicious food and ancient Tibetan influence.
Food Accommodation:
This trek offer a tiny and comfortable lodge for sleep and food. as in the last Day they seems very much professional to feed the hygienic food to the trekkers and clean rooms. There are attached bathroom single or double accommodation are also available. Jomsom has a deluxe resort and one can enjoy staying few Day there seeing the mountain.

Itinerary of Jomsom Muktinath Trek in Details

Day 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu our preventative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your Hotel.

Day 02: Drive or fly to Pokhara and meet your crew. O/N in the hotel.

Day 03: Trek to Hile O/N in the lodge (approx 5 hrs.)

Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani 2834m. O/N in the lodge (approx 6-7 hrs.)

Day 05: Trek to Sikha (approx 5 hrs.)

Day 06: Trek to Tatopani (1200 m) (approx 5 hrs.)

Day 07: Trek to Kalo Pani (2560 m) (approx 6 hrs.)

Day 08: Trek to Marpha (2,713 m). (approx 6 hrs.)

Day 09: Trek to Kagbeni (2810 m). (approx 6 hrs.)

Day 10: Trek to Muktinath (3710 m) (approx 5 hrs.)

Day 11: Trek to Kagbeni (approx 5 hrs.)

Day 12: Trek to Jomsom (2713 m).

Day 13: Flights back to Pokhara. Transfer to the Hotel. A free afternoon in Pokhara

Day 14: Drive to Kathmandu. Transfer to the Hotel. Late afternoon sightseeing tour

Day 15: In Kathmandu. This is a cushion day that has been built into the itinerary to allow for delays due to flights or other reasons beyond our control. If you are able to complete your trek in time then this day may be used for sight seeing around Kathmandu Valley or free for shopping day. O/N Hotel

Our full board package cost includes the following:

  • All land transfers as per itinerary to trek. (by private car, van or bus as per group size)

  • Domestic flights and departure taxes as per itinerary.

  • All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) whilst on the trek.

  • Conservation Park entrance fees. and other applicable trekking fees.

  • Guide and Porters (one porter per two persons is provided to carry the clients personal effects)

  • Trekking equipment (For a lodge based trek a duffle Bag for your non-personnel gear. 

  • Insurance for the trekking staff. (insurance as per state law)

  • First aid medical kit. Check Here

  • All the government tax and our (AATE) service charges.

  • Upon final payment AATE will provide pre-departure file including the detailed agreed itinerary, hotels and transport booked and introduce you to your trekking guide

Our full board package cost doesnot includes the following:

  • Tips and gratuities (crew frequently receives some recognition for good service)

  • Costs arising from unforeseen events outside the control of AATE.

  • Personal expenses such as alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, mineral water, monuments entrance fees, postage, laundry, video, camera, phone, etc.

  • The single supplements payable on all bookings where only one person is travelling.
