Langtang
Thuman Timure Trek |
|
This is a virgin trekking trail. Trekkers
will specially enjoy with the Tamang
heritage trail (one ethnic group in Nepal).
The trail will follow maximum 3165m high.
After riding 5-6 hrs to Syabrubesi, trek
will start to North West. En route trek will
pass through Goljung, Gatlang, Chilime,
Thuman the Tamang villages, Timure, Briddim
are cultural Tamang villages. Goljung and
Gatlang are more traditional Tamang
villages. The shamanism is still another
interesting culture in this trail.
While Goljung has ancient monastery, Gatlang
set high on a hillside among terraced fields
is the Tamang settlement.
On the way of trekking, bathing in the hot
spring, healing waters of the natural spring
at Tatopani en route from Gatlang to Chilime
is an exhilarating Experience. From the
viewpoint at Bahundanda near these
settlements, one can also see a panoramic
view of Lantang, Kerung, and the Ganesh
Himalayan ranges. The trail ends at Briddim
which lies on the lap of Langtang Himal.
Briddim offers warm Tamang hospitality at
the home-stays run by community members. In
addition, visitors can also visit local
monasteries of Dukchu Gomba
(Monastery) chosen as sacred site by the
great Tibetan Lama - Guru Rinpoche and
Chukla Khnaga Gomba.

Our full board package cost includes the
following:

Airport transfers (by private car, van
or bus as per group size)

All land transfers as per itinerary to
trek. (by private car, van or bus as per

All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
whilst on the trek. Meals on camping
treks will prepared by AATE and served
from our dinning room tent. In lodge
based treks all meals will be provided
from the lodges along the way.

Porters and/or pack animal (one porter
per two persons is provided to carry the

Trekking equipment (For a lodge based
trek a duffle Bag for your non-personnel
gear. For camping based treks a tent

sleeping bag, kitchen and dinning room
tents and all kitchen utensils, toilet
tent)

Trekking staff (guide with government
license holder and other assistant
guides where applicable, cook, Sherpa
and porter as per requirements).
