Siklish Trek

A trek to an area very less frequented by westerners to one of the largest Gurung villages in west Nepal. The trek starts with a drive from Pokhara to Lampata and passes through Ghale Gaon and over the pass to Parje and Siklis – largest Gurung settlements. From Siklis, the route turns east and stays along the ridge through Kalikathan and Shyaklung with a final night at Chisopani before descending to Pokhara via Rupa and Begnas lakes.

Itinerary of Siklish Trek in Detail

Days 01:  Upon arrival in Kathmandu our presentative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your Hotel.

Days 02 : Prepare the trekking documents and shopping for trekking or check the list.

 Days 03 : Early morning flight to Pokhara. Trek to Lama Khet.

Days 04 : Trek to Sikles.

Days 05 : Trek to Tara hilltop.

Days 06 : Trek to Bhorjang Khola. Weather permitting your trekking crew might prepare a farewell treat for you. You would be expected to join in the singing and the dancing!

Days 07 : Trek to Pokhara. Transfer to the Pokhara Hotel. A free afternoon in Pokhara

Days 08 : Flight to Kathmandu. Transfer to the Hotel. Late afternoon sightseeing tour of Kathmandu

Days 09 : In Kathmandu. This is a cushion day that has been built into the itinerary to allow for delays due to flight or other reasons beyond our control. If you are able to complete your trek in time then this day may be used for sight seeing around Kathmandu Valley or free for shopping days. O/N Hotel.

Our full board package cost includes the following:

  • Airport transfers (by private car, van or bus as per group size)

  • All land transfers as per itinerary to trek. (by private car, van or bus as per group size)

  • Domestic flights and departure taxes as per itinerary.

  • All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) whilst on the trek. Meals on camping treks will prepared by AATE  and served from our dinning room tent.

  • All lodge accommodations, tenting fees and hotel in Pokhara.

  • Annapurna Conservation Park entrance fees.

  • Porters and/or pack animal (one porter per two persons is provided to carry the clients personal effects)

  • Trekking equipment (For a lodge based trek a duffle Bag for your non-personnel gear. For camping based treks a tent (shared between two persons), mattress, sleeping bag, kitchen and dinning room tents and all kitchen utensils, toilet tent)

  • Trekking staff  (guide with government license holder and other assistant guides where applicable, cook, Sherpa and porter as per requirements).

  • Insurance for the trekking staff. (insurance as per state law)

  • First aid medical kit. Check Here

  • All the government tax and our (AATE) service charges.

  • Upon final payment AATE will provide pre-departure file including the detailed agreed itinerary, hotels and transport booked and introduce you to your trekking guide.

Our full board package does not include the following:

  • Personal trekking equipment  Equipment Check

  • All meals while in Kathmandu or in Pokhara.

  • Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu, (they can be included upon request).

  • Sightseeing tours in Kathmandu, (they can be included upon request).

  • International flights and departure taxes.

  • Visa and passport fees (to entry and re entry). Nepal entry visa is US$30 for 60 days.

  • Your travel insurance (for travel, cancellation, accident, health, emergency evacuation and loss of life, theft of or damage to personal effects).

  • Tips and gratuities (crew frequently receives some recognition for good service)

  • Costs arising from unforeseen events outside the control of AATE.

  • Personal expenses such as alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, mineral water, monuments entrance fees, postage, laundry, video, camera, phone, etc.

  • The single supplements payable on all bookings where only one person is travelling.

  • Gratuities for services provided on a personal basis.

  • All other services not included in the  "cost includes" section above.
