Dhaulagiri Trek

Dhaulariri round trek is one of the difficult trekking in Nepal. Dhaulagiri circuit trek  has the view of Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m. including French pass, Thapa pass, Hidden valley. As other trek it starts with typical Nepali village and arrive Italy Base camp where trekkers take a acclimatization day to avoid from the mountain sickness. It is a complete organize trekking that trekkers need to be feet to walk over the snow. After crossing the French pass it will combine with the beautiful Annapurna trekking route. Itinerary of Dhaulagiri Trek in Detail

Days 01:  Upon arrival in Kathmandu a representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your Hotel.

Days 02 : Prepare for trekking and check for the gears. O/N in the hotel.

Days 03 : Drive to Beni and O/N in the Lodge or camp. 

Days 04 : Trek to  Babichaour (1020m). O/N in the camp

Days 05 : Trek to  Darbang (1113m). O/N in the camp

Days 06 : Trek to Sibang (1750m). O/N in the camp

Days 07 : Trek to Muri (2000m). O/N in the camp

Days 08 : Trek to Boghara. O/N in the camp

Days 09 : Trek to Dobang (Dovan) O/N in the camp

Days 10 : Trek to  Chartare O/N in the camp

Days 11 : Trek to  Italy Base Camp. 3660m.O/N in the camp

Days 12 : Rest day O/N in the camp

Days 13 : Trek to Glacier camp O/N in the camp

Days 14 : Trek to Dhaulagiri base cmap 4740m. O/N in the camp

Days 15 : Trek to French Pass (5334m). O/N in the camp

Days 16 : Trek to Yak Kharka.

Days 17 : Trek to Marpha.

Days 18 : Trek to Marpha/Kalopani.

Days 19 : Trek to Kalopani/Tatopani.

Days 20 : Trek to Tatopani/Ghorapani.

Days 21 : Trek to Ghorapani/Birethanti.

Days 22 : Trek to Nayapull. Transfer to the Pokhara Hotel. A free afternoon in Pokhara

Days 23 : Flight to Kathmandu. Transfer to the Hotel. Late afternoon sightseeing tour of Kathmandu

Days 24 : In Kathmandu. This is a cushion day that has been built into the itinerary to allow for delays due to flights or other reasons beyond our control. If you are able to complete your trek in time then this day may be used for sight seeing around Kathmandu Valley. or free for shopping days. O/N Hotel.

Our full board package includes the following:

  • Airport transfers (by private car, van or bus as per group size)

  • All land transfers as per itinerary to trek. (by private car, van or bus as per group size)

  • All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) that will prepared by AATE  and served from our dinning room.

  • Annapurna Conservation Park entrance fees.

  • Applicable trekking fees.

  • Porters and/or pack animal (one porter per two persons is provided to carry the clients personal effects)

  • Trekking equipment (duffle Bag for your gear and for camping based treks tent, mattress, sleeping bag, kitchen and dinning room tents and all kitchen utensils, toilet tent)

  • Trekking staff  (guide with government license holder and other assistant guides where applicable, cook, Sherpa and porter as per requirements.

  • Insurance for the trekking staff. (insurance as per state law)

  • First aid medical kit Check Here

  • All the government tax and our (AATE) service charges.

  • Upon final payment AATE will provide pre-departure file including the detailed agreed itinerary, hotels and transport booked and introduce you to your trekking guide.

Our full board package does not include the following:

  • Personal trekking equipment  Equipment Check

  • All meals while in Kathmandu or in Pokhara.

  • Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara, (they can be included upon request).

  • International flights and departure taxes

  • Visa and passport fees (to entry and re entry). Nepal entry visa is US$30 for 30 days.

  • Your travel insurance (for travel, cancellation, accident, health, emergency evacuation and loss of life, theft of or damage to personal effects).

  • Tips and gratuities (crew frequently receives some recognition for good service)

  • Costs arising from unforeseen events outside the control of AATE.

  • Personal expenses such as alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, mineral water, monuments entrance fees, postage, laundry, video, camera, phone, etc.

  • The single supplements payable on all bookings where only one person is travelling.

  • Gratuities for services provided on a personal basis.
