Kanchanjunga Base Camp Trek

Kanchanjunga (8585m) is the worlds third highest mountain. The avalanches that Kanchanjunga throws down are said to be the largest anywhere!. Kanchanjunga trek mainly led to two destination north base camp Pangpema and south Base camp Ramje. Some trekkers would like to combine the both base camp crossing the Selele Pass. Selele Pass is the hard pass in Nepal Himalayas as it has other two pass together called Mirgin La and Sinelapche La pass before getting the Cheram. North Base Camp of Kanchanjunga, Pangpema has the majestic view.

The lower part of the trek will be passing by the rhododendron mixed forest. If the trekking time is in March and April the rhododendron will have full blooms. There are many different colors of rhododendron in Kanchanjunga area. This trek remain closed in the deep winter.

Kanchanjunga trekking is an demanding one which needs completely organized. To avoid the mountain sickness there is a rest day in Ghunsa. The upper part of the Kanchanjunga is a Tibetan influence. People deeply believe in Buddhism. Alpine Asian Treks can organize your trip to Kanchanjunga trek with experienced guide and other staff.
