Itinerary - Tibet Overland Tour
Day 01 KATHMANDU TO NYALAM :
Early morning drive to Kodari (Nepal Tibet border). After the necessary procession of the immigration drive uphill to Nyalam and over night in the lodge.
Day 02 NYLAM TO TINGRI/ LHATSE :
Drive in the morning and pass 3800m. Nyalam. This day you have a big pass 5060m.Lalung La and 5200m Gachula Pass. This day you will have fantastic view of the mountain including Mt Everest.
Day 03 TINGRI/ LHATSE TO SIGATSE :
Drive about 8hrs. Sigatse has famous Tashilumpo Monastery and the seat of Pance Lama. Stop over night in the lodge.
Day 04 SIGATSE TO GYANTSE :
In the morning visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the free market in Sigatse. In the afternoon drive to Gyantse and visit Palkhor Monastery and Khumvum Stupa. Over night in the Hotel.
Day 05 GYANTSE TO LHASA :
It is about 8 hours drive to Lhasa on the way crossing tow pass Karo-La 5010m. and Kamba-La 4794m. You will pass a nice Lake called Yamdruk. Over night in the hotel.
Day 06/07 LHASA :
Two whole day sight seeing in Lhasa. You will visit Derpung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Potala Palace, Norbulinkha Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Market.
Day 08 Early morning drive to Gongor airport and fly on wards destination.
