Mt. Kailash Tour

KATHMANDU / KAILASH / LHASA (20 DAYS)

 In the northern part there is a mighty mountain by name Himalaya - the abode of perpetual snow-fittingly called the Lord of mountains, animated by Divinity as its soul and internal spirit (or in other words, Divinity Incarnate). Spanning the wide and from the eastern to the western sea, he stands as it were like the measuring rod of earth.
It the direction of the King Prithu, the selfsame mountain was used as a calf by all other mountains, while the Mount Meru (Kailas) stood as an expert milker of cows and milchand the mother Earth (as if from a cow) the milk of shinning gems and medicinal herbs of wonderful and supreme efficiency (in order to adors the Himalayas).

Itinerary of Mt. Kailash Tour in Detail

Days 01:  Drive from Kathmandu ( 1303m.) to Kodari. After border procession drive to Nyalam 3700m.  and O/N in the Hotel.

Days 02 : Acclimatization in Nyalam

Days 03 : Drive from Nyalam to Saga ( 4840m) crossing Lalung La 5050m.  ( 4520m) and Overnight in Camps.

Days 04 : Drive to Parayang  O/N at Hotel.

Days 05 : Drive to Lake Mansarovar (4520m). Over night in camps.

Days 06 : Day free for rest. Purification bath in the holy lake etc. O/N in camp.

Days 07 : Drive to Darchen ( 4700m) . O/N at Hotel in Darchen or in tents.

Days 08 : Start trek around Mt. Kailash ( 6656m0 O/N in tent (Depaphuk)

Days 09 : Trek and cross the Dormala pass (5600m).O/N in tents.(Zuthulpluk)

Days 10 : Trek and return to Darchen. O/N in tent.

Days 11 : Drive to Parayang. O/N in tents.

Days 12 : Drive Parayang to Saga O/N in tents.

Days 13 : Drive from Saga to Zhangmu. O/N at Zhangmu Hotel.

Days 14 : Drive to Friendship border and drive to Kathmandu.O/N in the Hotel

# Note :  If you are interested to end your Kilash tour to Lhasa, The route will be as following:

Days 14 : Tsongpa. Overnight in Camps.

Days 15 : Drive from Sigar to Sigatse. O/N at Hotel.

Days 16 : Drive from Sigatse to Gyantse. O/N at Hotel.

Days 17 : Drive from Gyantse to Lhasa. O/n at Hotel.

Days 18 : Lhasa Sightseeing. O/N at Hotel.

Days 19 : Lhasa Sightseeing. O/N at Hotel.

Days 20 : Drive to airport to fly to Kathmandu
